The CIDE Group of Companies officially opened its new international showroom in Hong Kong
The permanent and modern international showroom was opened by the Group’s President – Dr Luis Bravo, who was joined by senior personnel and employees of the CIDE Group of Companies. Dr Luis Bravo, officiating at the event said: “I am delighted to officially open this showroom in Hong Kong today. This permanent and modern facility will allow us to exhibit our existing and upcoming products all year round, and additionally will provide a location for meetings with potential customers”. Opening the showroom in Hong Kong is considered to be a strategic advantage, due to its ideal setting for international business. “Our Hong Kong facility has an excellent work force who are hard-working and trust-worthy. Hong Kong itself is obviously an international business hub easily accessible through the international airport, and has become a vital stop in the Toy Industry international agenda. Both our management team and customers enjoy coming to visit here and we feel this showroom will allow us to further develop existing and new relationships”.

… CIDE-SEI’s France based R&D Laboratory has moved into newer, bigger and technology enhanced facilities.
The move – completed during the month of October 2010 – culminated with CIDE-SEI staff moving to modern and newly re-built facilities in Vaulx Milieu, at the Prologis Park sited at 2 Ave. Blaise Pascal.
With more than 3000 squared feet of offices and laboratories, the new premises will enable the company to complete its incorporation of new technologies and staff necessary to continue the path towards their goal of becoming a market leader specialist in the world of electronic toys and games.
CIDE incorporates new technologies
CIDE-SEI continues its commitment to ‘leading-edge’ philosophy by updating its technology systems.
The new premises will include leading edge IT facilities – exhibiting the very latest in Internet and telecommunications technology, new recording digital laboratory, a new digital photographic and animation facility, and finally the integration of a new laboratory for the development and manufacturing of fast prototyping engineering.
Since its incorporation in July 2001, CIDE-SEI has come a long way in the development of its capabilities, placing itself at the forefront of their field by increasing its capabilities to continue supporting the long list customers around the world.
CIDE-SEI – France is proud to announce the commission of new a Digital Photography Laboratory equipped with SCAN CUBE (WYSIWYB) technology, and other high-tech digital cameras which will allow CIDE-SEI engineers to get instant photographs and animation snapshots to produce high quality Flash animations clips.
Additionally, an exciting development is the installation of Elite machines from CAD Vision. With these, CIDE-SEI – France will now benefit from Fast Prototyping technology, which will accelerate a product’s overall design cycle and will allow for improved cost efficiency by removing the need for traditional machined samples.
