KD Interactive, announced today it has completed the integration of its North America Kurio products distribution operation. In past years, the distribution of Kurio products in North America was conducted in conjunction with a third-party partner. The completion of this integration exercise marks the final step in bringing the distribution of the Kurio products solely under the KD Group’s control.

The CIDE Group of Companies and ELDHOM Benelux sign a joint venture agreement and form ELDHOM Hong-Kong in order to distribute both companies product portfolios

The CIDE Group of Companies, a globally recognized toy industry leading-edge company has signed a joint-venture agreement with northern European distributor Eldohm Benelux – based in the Netherlands, in order to enable growth opportunities through expanded distribution coverage and available synergies on considering both entities product portfolios. Eldohm Netherlands will manage all Marketing, Sales and Distribution operations in the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany and the Flemish speaking part of Belgium. Additionally, the companies also signed a concurrent contract which incorporates Eldhom Hong Kong, which will allow for this Pacific-Rim based operation to sell, market and distribute both companies wide and varied product portfolios to globally recognized retailers.

CronLab enters into a worldwide strategic partnership with CIDE Interactive, part of the CIDE Group of Companies

CronLab has signed a partnership agreement with CIDE Interactive to become its expert content security partner worldwide. CIDE Interactive has chosen CronLab to bring the technological know-how required to help deliver the appropriate online safety environment to their future high tech devices. Kurio Android tablet awarded the ‘Best of Show’ price at the UK Toy Fair

CIDE INTERACTIVE’s breakthrough Kurio Android tablet for kids was honoured with the ‘Best of Show’ award at the UK’s Toy Fair 2012 by The Gagdet Show Live. “We are overwhelmed and delighted that the Kurio has been awarded Best In Show by The Gadget Show Live. The fantastic response from the toy industry and consumers has exceeded our expectations, and we’re very excited about launching the first ‘grown-up’ tablet for kids this summer” said Tracey Devine, UK marketing manager at Inspiration Works (UK).

CIDE INTERACTIVE and TECHNO SOURCE agree distribution rights to Kurio for North America

CIDE Interactive, a French based global toy industry leading-edge company dedicated to incorporating new technologies with learning and the development of childhood comprehension has entered an agreement with toy innovator Techno Source – a division of LF Products, in order to distribute the Kurio line of Android-based tablets in North America. Kurio is a 7″ multi-touch-screen Wi-Fi-enabled tablet with an open Android system that allows parents to monitor and control their child’s interaction while online. Advanced parental controls – found in a password protected parental area – enable management of internet access, application store access and purchase control, time control options, and more. Parents can set different controls for each user profile, expanding access as the child becomes older. “Kurio was introduced at London and Nuremberg Toy Fairs with much fanfare,” said Eric Levin, Division Head, Techno Source. “It was awarded “Best of Show” and we knew immediately that we wanted to be the ones to introduce it to the North American market. The CIDE Group of Companies welcome TALDEC Communications to the group

The CIDE Group of Companies, a globally recognized toy industry leading-edge company proudly announces the acquisition of and welcome TALDEC COMMUNICATIONS – a Paris based company, to the holdings group. Mr Dominique Garnier will operate as General Manager of the new entity, and the company will remain in its current Paris location, while managing all Marketing, Sales and Distribution operations for France and French speaking Switzerland and Belgium. In addition to the CIDE Group of Companies current product portfolio, Taldec Communications will continue to distribute its wide range of varied and diverse toys, licensed products, art and craft supplies and stationary.

The CIDE Group of Companies officially opened its new international showroom in Hong Kong

The permanent and modern international showroom was opened by the Group’s President – Dr Luis Bravo, who was joined by senior personnel and employees of the CIDE Group of Companies. Dr Luis Bravo, officiating at the event said: “I am delighted to officially open this showroom in Hong Kong today. This permanent and modern facility will allow us to exhibit our existing and upcoming products all year round, and additionally will provide a location for meetings with potential customers”. Opening the showroom in Hong Kong is considered to be a strategic advantage, due to its ideal setting for international business. “Our Hong Kong facility has an excellent work force who are hard-working and trust-worthy. Hong Kong itself is obviously an international business hub easily accessible through the international airport, and has become a vital stop in the Toy Industry international agenda. Both our management team and customers enjoy coming to visit here and we feel this showroom will allow us to further develop existing and new relationships”.
